Hunter's 1st Haircut

Hunter had long hair on one side of his head, so we had to cut it. This was his first haircut.

We went to celebrate Aunt Jem's B-day and Hunter decided to tip back a pitcher of beer! Like father like son!

Finally Relaxing

We finally had a quiet evening at home. Jenn and Chris stopped by to visit for a hour or so. It was nice to relax this evening. Hunter sure had no problem sleeping.

Hunter's Photo Shoot with Aunt Jem

We recently did a photo shoot with Aunt Jem. Hunter did not want to cooperate, but Aunt Jem says that for 3 weeks old Hunter did really well. She was able to capture some adorable shots. More to come later.

Avoiding the Illness

We are currently trying to keep Hunter from the cold and flu viruses that are circulating. His cousins are quite ill and we hope that the time spent together at Thanksgiving does not spread the germs. Hunter is doing well. He had a visit from his Grandma and Grandpa McKinney a week ago. He is growing and changing every day. We'll post new pics soon!

Welcome Hunter Ray McKinney!

Well today was the day! Hunter Ray graced us with his presence at 3:40p.m. He weighed in at 6 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches (almost). He is blonde and adorable. Mommy caved on the epidural and decided drugs were good. So she was feeling pretty good throughout the ordeal once the epidural kicked in. While Aunt Jem (Jenn) took photographs, Aunt Chelle videotaped. During the birth the most amazing thing happened, everyone in the room started hearing frog sounds. "Ribbit, Ribbit." We all looked at each other while the nurse said, "You are not having a frog." It turns out that the Doctor's ringtone on his cell phone is frogs croaking. Pretty hilarious!!! The family is not scheduled to be home until Thursday. If you have any visits planned be sure to bring plenty of hand sanitizer as Mommy and Daddy are paranoid of germs.
